Pool Time, a pool care product line sold exclusively at The Home Depot, approached Tailfin in May of 2008 with a tall challenge: redesign the entire product line to launch by the 2010 pool season. In addition to doing an overall look and feel refresh, we were charged with better communicating the differences in the good/better/best product grades, as well as introducing a 4-step system that would help consumers better navigate the myriad of product options – all without adding any words to the packaging. In a two-month time frame, Tailfin created a new brand identity including a new packaging design that could be extended across their entire product line. The team is thrilled with the outcome and anticipates that the new identity will be making a splash with consumers for years to come.
